Melanie Masson
Melanie Masson is a photographer, writer, and arts organizer in Seattle, WA. She began developing her craft while growing up in the American South, and moved to the Pacific Northwest in 2006. A graduate of Winthrop University and the University of Washington, she works in the museum field following more than a decade in the commercial photography industry.
Masson's photographs have been published by the Seattle Post-Intelligencer, The Stranger, Sound Transit, Seattle International Film Festival, City Arts, Photographic Center Northwest, 4Culture, Ploughshares Literary Magazine, Till, Shunpike, Rubicon Foundation Seattle, The Seattle-Havana-Tehran Poster Show, ARCADE Magazine, Haven Stad, Microsoft, Nordstrom, DaimlerChrysler, Burke Museum of Natural History and Culture, Seattle Children’s Museum, The Center for Wooden Boats, 48° North, The Greenville Journal, and Winthrop University.
